We’ll need the following documents from you: resume in tabular form, application photo (optional), relevant references/transcripts (Abitur certificate or equivalent recognized certificate entitling the bearer to study at a German university, current high school transcript, letters of reference from internships and/or training placements), cover letter stating your desired start date and, where applicable, additional documents such as a portfolio with sketches or samples of your work. Please upload all attachments using the application system.

No, we do not require a specific average grade for you to apply.

If no specific contact person was listed in the job advertisement, please use a general salutation without specifying a specific contact person.

If a job is advertised in English, we recommend that you apply in English as well.

Please only apply for specific job advertisements by completing an online application.

You are welcome to apply for multiple jobs that have been advertised. Your online application will be used to create a personalized candidate profile for you. You can access this at any time using your login credentials and use it to apply for additional jobs.

The number of application steps largely depends on the position advertised. There are usually two interviews. The first primarily serves for us to get to know one another, while the second (usually with the department head) allows us to engage in a more professional and personal dialog, and may be combined with a case study or work trial. In addition, depending on the position, a Predictive Index test may be included. Our applicants receive all the necessary information in advance with their invitation to interview.

You’ll receive an immediate confirmation when your application has been received. However, we need a bit of time to read through and assess your application documents since we need to coordinate everything with the respective departments. Usually you will hear from us within four to six weeks. You will always receive a response to your application.

You are welcome to get in touch with HUGO BOSS to discuss the company as an employer prior to submitting an application so that you’ll already have an idea of our corporate culture and work atmosphere.

There is no set dress code. We recommend business or business casual.

The interview usually lasts around one hour. If you weren’t asked to bring anything with you in advance, there’s no need to bring anything.

The next steps are usually communicated to you during the interview. We do our best to provide you with feedback as quickly as possible.

You are of course welcome to apply to other open positions after an unsuccessful application. There is a huge number of reasons for which an application could be unsuccessful, and it may well be that you are exactly the right person for another job later on. So please don’t give up. We are always happy to receive your application.

In this case, we ask that you withdraw your application to HUGO BOSS through your online candidate profile.

Students/graduates – Internship

Generally speaking, you can do an internship in any part of the company – from our corporate development division to retail operations.

We offer internship places to those who are currently studying.

On the first day you’ll receive all the important information you need to know as part of an Onboarding event, as well as documents you’ll need during your internship. This event will also give you the opportunity to get to know interns from other divisions. You will be actively included in both day-to-day work as well as in your own projects during your internship. This allows you to familiarize yourself with the kind of work we do and how we do it, expand upon your knowledge and skills and make your first professional contacts. Throughout the process, you’ll receive professional support from our internship mentors in each division and direct contact persons in human resources. You’ll meet with your divisional mentor for a review halfway through your internship. There, you’ll receive feedback on your performance and you’ll have the opportunity to discuss any requests or suggestions you may have.

  • You are ideally already halfway through your Bachelor’s degree or are working on a Master’s. You have good English language skills and comfortably use current MS Office programs.
  • You are committed, have excellent communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team.
  • Please find additional job-specific requirements under each job advertisement.
  • Internship places are also awarded to graduates; enrollment at a university/college is not mandatory.
  • As an international intern, please include all relevant work and residence documents with your application.
  • You may have already gathered initial practical work experience and are interested in fashion and lifestyle products.

Please only apply online – our current job openings for internships are listed here. Your online application will be used to create a personalized candidate profile for you. You can update and modify this at any time. This increases the chances of us being able to recommend suitable internships at HUGO BOSS in addition to the one you applied for. If you can’t find a suitable internship, you can always contact our job agents to have them send you the latest vacancies at HUGO BOSS. Unfortunately, we are unable to consider applications received via email or postal mail.

Please only apply for a specific job advertisement. Unsolicited applications for internships are not possible.

You can find a list of all the internships currently available here: HUGO BOSS Job Advertisements
