April 2017 - HUGO BOSS joined the initiative Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) as a new member in April 2017. Through the membership, the Company aims to further its environmental responsibility through the use of more sustainable chemicals along the global value chain and subsequently reduce the environmental impact due to production processes.
Collaboration with other companies and organizations is of great importance to HUGO BOSS: Through the exchange of experience and information, the standards of chemical management can be further developed, thus creating a more sustainable industry. ZDHC is a non-profit organization, which takes a holistic approach to developing future standards in the fields of chemicals and environmental management for the industry worldwide. The goal is to create a more exemplary approach to chemicals in the global textile and footwear value chain, in order to protect workers, consumers and the environment even better.
