HUGO BOSS AG postpones Annual Shareholders’ Meeting

HUGO BOSS AG postpones Annual Shareholders’ Meeting

Metzingen, April 3, 2020. HUGO BOSS AG is postponing the company's Annual Shareholders’ Meeting, previously scheduled for May 7, 2020 in Stuttgart.

The decision was made against the background of the rapid spread of COVID-19 and a regulation of the German State of Baden-Württemberg, according to which events are prohibited for the time being until June 15, 2020. Moreover, the health of shareholders, employees and the service providers involved is a top priority for HUGO BOSS. In this context, the company is currently also evaluating the possibility to conduct a virtual Annual Shareholders’ Meeting in 2020.

The postponement will inevitably lead to a delay in all resolutions of the Annual Shareholders’ Meeting, including the resolution on the appropriation of profits, which is a mandatory legal requirement for the payment of dividends.

The Annual Shareholders’ Meeting will take place on a new date within the statutory period. HUGO BOSS will inform shareholders and the public in a timely manner about the further planning and, as soon as a new date has been set, will re-invite shareholders to the Annual Shareholders’ Meeting 2020.
