HUGO BOSS and German Soccer Association extend their Partnership until end of 2018

Metzingen, July 1, 2016. As the German Soccer Association’s official fashion outfitter, HUGO BOSS will be continuing to suit its squad and players after the 2016 European Championships – and defining its modern, elegant look during the 2017 Confederations Cup and the 2018 World Cup in Russia as well.

“The national team’s coach Jogi Löw is as innovative with his team selections as he is with his personal style. We are delighted to be extending our successful association with the federation and ensuring that the German players will again be defending their status as ‘best-dressed team’ at the 2018 World Cup,” commented Gerd von Podewils, Senior Vice President Global Communications HUGO BOSS.

The partnership between the German Soccer association and the Metzingen-based fashion company was launched in May 2013. As official fashion outfitter to the men’s national, the under-21 and now also the women’s national soccer teams, HUGO BOSS has extended its agreement with the federation until the end of 2018.

“HUGO BOSS is the ideal partner for us because we both strive to give our very best in our respective fields. We always try to deliver a peak performance at matches, but it’s also important to create the right impression at official functions and while traveling,” says Oliver Bierhoff, the executive manager of the national team.
