When it comes to sustainability, action is what counts. Our guiding principles are captured in the concept of ‘TODAY. TOMORROW. ALWAYS.’, reminding us that it’s a continuous process within HUGO BOSS. As of TODAY we have achieved many milestones, but our path to greater sustainability continues. TOMORROW focuses on the concrete goals that the company has set itself for the future, and ALWAYS demonstrates our long-term commitment to help creating a better future. We take responsibility for the impact our business has – from our products and the people we interact with to our environmental impact as a fashion house – in a 360° approach.

With our efforts in recent years, we have already made strong progress on the path to greater sustainability in all areas of our business, from materials procurement to collection development and product packaging. Click here to see more of our milestones.  

TOMORROW: Where we want to be

ENVIRONMENT

Your environmental footprint matters – and so does ours. Our understanding is based on the principle that action and reaction are closely intertwined. Introducing and developing more environmentally and climate-friendly processes helps us to reduce our environmental footprint along our entire value chain, including our sites, stores, production facilities and logistics.

PRODUCT

This is not only about design, quality, durability and innovation. We strive to meet social and environmental standards across our entire supply chain. It’s the approach we take to all of our products. We source the most sustainable materials possible and treat them as efficiently as we can. For our RESPONSIBLE styles, our promise is that they are manufactured with at least 60% more sustainable materials and fibers. Our goal? By 2025, at least 30% of our total product range will be produced according to these criteria.

PEOPLE & SOCIETY

People are the heartbeat of our business, from our employees to our customers and partners worldwide. We aim to inspire with our fashion, but we also want to educate and develop talent wherever we can. In addition, respect for human rights and high social standards form the basis for our relationships with our own employees, suppliers and other partners. Our social commitment is an integral part of our approach to corporate responsibility.

I’m very happy that we could share the ideas behind TODAY. TOMORROW. ALWAYS. with the world, because it really captures our attitude to becoming an increasingly sustainable business.
