Our alternative to Polyester
As part of a long-term, strategic partnership with HeiQ (LSE: HEIQ), we are investing in a new more sustainable apparel technology for the production of a cellulosic yarn. The HeiQ AeoniQ(TM) yarn can offer an alternative to polyester and polyamide fibers. While polyester and polyamide fibers are made from non-renewable oil-based raw materials, the HeiQ AeoniQ yarn comprises renewable raw materials. This technology can help prevent water pollution from microplastic fibers and preserve agricultural land, when replacing oil-based materials like polyester. Collaborations like this are critical to increasingly eliminate synthetic fibers and reduce our impact on the planet.
UNSERE HEIQ AEONIQ™ STYLES
HUGO BOSS hat bereits verschiedene HEIQ AEONIQ™ Styles auf den Markt gebracht. Darunter Poloshirts, Outerwear-Styles, Tailoring und ein Sneaker. Das zu den BOSS Open 2023 vorgestellte BOSS x HeiQ AeoniQ™ Performance Shirt wurde mit dem ISPO Award 2023 ausgezeichnet. Das nahtlose High-Performance Poloshirt ist mit HeiQ AeoniQ™ Faser hergestellt, die zertifiziertem Holzzellstoff gefertigt wird. Dabei handelt es sich um einen von vielen möglichen erneuerbaren Rohstoffen, aus denen es produziert werden kann. Weitere HeiQ AeoniQ™ Styles standen außerdem bei der FW23 Fashion Show im Fokus. Als Teil der THE CHANGE Initiative umfasste die präsentierte Kollektion auch drei Outerwear-Styles in limitierter Auflage aus HeiQ AeoniQ™ Gewebe. Auch die aktuelle Spring/Summer 2025 Kollektion umfasst HeiQ AeoniQ™-Tailoring Styles, die Teil von HUGO FORWARD sind, einer neuen Plattform, die den innovativen, technologiebasierten Designansatz von HUGO präsentiert.
