DESIRE TO INSPIRE:
DANIEL GORDON

BOSSes are not born, they are made. This is a key message of our viral #BeYourOwnBOSS campaign. And each of our leaders at HUGO BOSS strongly exemplifies this message in their own, diverse way.

This is what sparked off our quarterly video series ‘Desire to Inspire’. The idea is to highlight the diversity of leadership at HUGO BOSS as a lighthouse for teams and aspiring leaders.

In this, second episode of the ongoing video series, we are delighted to introduce Daniel Gordon, Vice President of the Footwear Business Unit. This fast-paced interview features his take on everything from his go-to leadership principle to team motivation, dealing with failure, and his advice for aspiring leaders.

Originally from England, Daniel has spent the last twelve years in Italy as well as in Ticino, Switzerland. He has been a leader in the footwear industry for over 15 years, in a career spanning two decades.

It’s important to surround yourself with different points of view. If you only work with similar archetypes, then you’re going to miss those contrasting opinions that can lead to innovation.
