August 2019 - Have you ever wondered where the material for your suit comes from exactly? With the BOSS Traceable Wool Capsule Collection, HUGO BOSS enables the seamless traceability of the garment along its supply chain.
The BOSS Traceable Wool menwear capsule collection consists of six styles that can be traced back to wool production, thus offering maximum transparency. The wool we use is sourced from ZQ-certified farms in New Zealand. To obtain the ZQ certification, the highest standards of animal welfare, environmental sustainability, fibre quality and social responsibility must be met. These include, for example, banning the mulesing procedure which is painful for the animals, providing a farm environmental plan and guaranteeing safe workplaces and fair wages. Our long-standing partner REDA in Italy processes the fibre from New Zealand into high-quality woven fabrics. In our own production site in Izmir (Turkey) we manufacture the products under the highest quality and working standards.
The six menswear styles include suits, trousers, jackets, ties and outerwear and are available in our own online store as well as in selected BOSS stores worldwide.
