The incomparable Frida Kahlo is one of the most iconic artists, best known for her vibrant paintings that are commentary on identity to physicality, and mortality. Over the course of her legendary career, she created 143 paintings. Nearly 55 of these are self-portraits that, symbolically, convey the physical and psychological pain she endured as a result of a life-altering accident. She then became a leading figure among feminist artists.
The latest capsule in the BOSS Legends series centers on the inimitable Mexican painter. The gender-neutral capsule collection is inspired by Frida Kahlo’s life and art. It celebrates her artistic vision and pioneering career, while embracing the notion that originality and strength are crucial to living a life according to your own rules and being your own BOSS. The limited-edition collection comprises t-shirts and hoodies in black and white, featuring Frida’s famous gaze as well as her quote, ‘Originality is no sin’. The capsule neatly encapsulates what it means to be an unapologetic, one-of-kind BOSS.
