PURPOSE OF OUR WORK

After many years of active work in education, equal opportunities, and emergency relief, we seek to make an even greater impact with the establishment of our own charitable foundation.

We want to create a resilient and thriving environment that can give future generations the opportunity to live their lives boldly and confidently. That is our conviction, and that is where our commitment starts. With our global reach, we feel it is our responsibility to safeguard our planet's resources and act in fighting climate change.

Through our foundation, we aim to make a significant impact and contribute to a sustainable and prosperous future for all. We must be BOLD for the Planet.

FOCAL POINTS OF OUR FOUNDATION WORK

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

In strategic partnerships we particularly support change-making initiatives around the world in the fields of climate protection and environmental conservation. We are dedicated to empowering and supporting local people and communities, protecting, and restoring biodiversity and ecosystems, and mitigating emissions.

EMERGENCY RELIEF

When natural disasters jeopardize livelihoods and social cohesion, effective emergency relief is crucial to protect the basic needs of those affected. Our goal is to provide immediate assistance, enable infrastructure reconstruction, and promote preventive measures in such situations, through financial support of trusted partners.

PARTNERSHIPS & PROJECTS

EARTHQUAKE RELIEF IN TÜRKIYE

The HUGO BOSS Foundation and the Turkish non-profit organization Ahbap collaborated to rebuild Ali Sayar Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School in Antakya, which was heavily damaged in the earthquakes on February 6th, 2023. The vocational high school, which is planned to have a total of 16 classrooms, allows students in the earthquake zone to continue their education, and includes a dedicated textile technology department.

CORAL GARDENERS

Our first long-term partner, Coral Gardeners, are a non-profit organization that is focused on coral reef and marine conservation in French Polynesia, Fiji, and soon in Thailand. The foundation plans to support Coral Gardeners in its mission with a donation of EUR 1.8 million over several years.

ORGANIZATIONAL SET-UP

The HUGO BOSS Foundation (HUGO BOSS Stiftung gGmbH) officially started in 2023 and is a full subsidiary of HUGO BOSS AG. It is led by three directors: HUGO BOSS AG CEO Daniel Grieder, HUGO BOSS AG CFO/COO Yves Müller and Dorothee Niebergall, SVP Group Strategy & Corporate Development of HUGO BOSS AG.

With the HUGO BOSS Foundation, we take our longstanding commitment in supporting society-related projects to the next level. Driven by our purpose to be bold for the planet, the Foundation supports change-making initiatives around the world.
