On International Women's Day, we are reminded of the incredible strength, resilience, and achievements of women around the world. This year we join the International Women’s Day Organization and their theme to #InspireInclusion, reminding us of the importance of fostering diverse and inclusive cultures where every voice is heard and valued.
Inclusion is about going beyond just representation. It is about creating an environment where everyone feels welcomed, respected, and empowered to bring their whole selves to work. It requires that we embrace different perspectives, experiences, and ideas, and recognize that diversity drives innovation and fosters creativity.
This year we shed some light on Imposter Syndrome in the workplace, a health phenomenon that affects a lot of people. Characterized by feelings of self-doubt and the fear of being exposed as a fraud, it’s overcome by challenging these negative self-beliefs, and seeking support and feedback from others.
As part of our International Women's Day activities at our headquarters, we organized a seminar on Imposter Syndrome to generate awareness, self-analysis, and to get inspired; we also brought back last year’s very successful Speed Mentoring event, bringing together mentors and mentees for knowledge- and experience-sharing in a fun and dynamic setting.
We continuously aim to Inspire Inclusion in our workplace and beyond as part of our work towards a gender-equitable society.
Happy International Women’s Day!
