January 2017 – RobecoSAM, an investment specialist focused exclusively on sustainability investing, has awarded HUGO BOSS the Bronze Class Sustainability Award 2017 for its good corporate sustainability performance. HUGO BOSS is listed as one of the top five performing companies in the Textiles, Apparel & Luxury Goods industry and was thus also included in the 2017 edition of RobecoSAM’s “Sustainability Yearbook”. This lists the world’s most sustainable companies per industry and is internationally one of the most comprehensive annual publication on corporate sustainability.
RobecoSAM offers in cooperation with S&P Dow Jones Indices the globally recognized Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI). This index is one of the most important sustainability indices and pursues a “Best in Class” approach. It takes into account aspects, such as corporate governance, supply chain management and stakeholder engagement. In the 2016 index rating, HUGO BOSS was able to improve its overall score, validating the company’s responsible business approach.
