August 2018 – The roadmap for a sustainable supply chain submitted by HUGO BOSS as part of its membership in the Partnership for Sustainable Textiles was published in August. In the roadmap, the Company presents its goals for 2018 in the three pillars of social standards and living wages, chemical and environmental management, and the use of natural fibers. The Company has set itself a total of 75 targets. Next year HUGO BOSS will announce the current status of target achievement and updated targets.

HUGO BOSS has been a member of the Partnership for Sustainable Textiles since 2015. The multi-stakeholder initiative consists of around 130 members from business, politics, civil society, trade unions and standard organisations. The overarching goal is to achieve social, environmental and economic improvements along the entire textile supply chain by pooling expertise. Based on defined Partnership goals, each member sets binding goals in the three areas mentioned above. In addition, solutions are promoted with concrete Partnership initiatives in the producing countries. As part of the Partnership, HUGO BOSS is committed to improving working conditions in the textile industry in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu especially for women, through improved dialog between stakeholders and targeted training.
