Ready for change? - In dialog with our stakeholders

November – The fourth annual HUGO BOSS Stakeholder Dialog took place last month. With the motto "Ready for Change?", the Company discussed the challenges and opportunities for a more sustainable future for the fashion industry with its stakeholders, including organizations such as Femnet, the Fair Labor Association and the Better Cotton Initiative.

The two-day event in Metzingen and Stuttgart opened with a keynote speech by Dr. Andreas Brill, Managing Partner of business4brands. In his speech, he highlighted the influence of digitization and technology on established business models and presented the possibilities of applying them to the topic of sustainability. The subsequent panel discussion took up many of these topics again and focused on their relationship to HUGO BOSS.

On the second day, after an update on the general development and status of sustainability initiatives at HUGO BOSS, discussions continued in two workshops. The first workshop focused on the opportunities offered by Industry 4.0, with the example being the HUGO BOSS production facility in Izmir. The second workshop focused on the development of sustainable products using the circular design approach.

This open exchange is very important to us in order to integrate the requirements of the various stakeholders into our sustainability strategy. We would like to thank them for the valuable input and suggestions that will be taken into account in our future sustainability strategy.
