Sustainability at HUGO BOSS: the Company is included in the DJSI again

November 2020 – In addition to market value and turnover, an increasing number of public and private investors are also considering climate and environmental risks, social factors and corporate governance matters when assessing a company. Sustainability indices such as the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) take precisely these criteria into account.

We are therefore pleased that HUGO BOSS AG was included in the renowned DJSI World for the fourth time in a row. The Group belongs to an exclusive circle of four companies in the textile, apparel and luxury segment that qualified for the index this year. In addition, and this year for the first time, we were also included in the DJSI Europe.

The DJSI indices are among the best-known sustainability indices. They compare companies worldwide or in a specific region within their respective industries based on sustainability criteria, listing the leaders in each sector.

With our repeated inclusion, we solidify our first-class position in the textile industry. This once again shows that we are on the right path and that our ambitious sustainability goals are being implemented effectively. Amongst others, HUGO BOSS scored as "best in class" in the categories Brand Management and Environmental & Social Reporting.
