HUGO BOSS JOINS THE CLIMATE ALLIANCE BADEN-WÜRTTEMBERG

HUGO BOSS has confirmed once again its commitment to a more sustainable future and becomes the first fashion company and the 50th member to join the Climate Alliance Baden-Württemberg. In doing so, the company signed a climate protection agreement together with the Ministry of the Environment, Climate Protection and the Energy Sector of Baden-Württemberg.

With the global sustainability strategy “For a Bold & Better Future,” HUGO BOSS is actively promoting new approaches and positive change in the fashion industry. On the path to net zero, the company aims to reduce CO2 emissions by at least 50% across the entire value chain by 2030 compared to our levels in 2019.

The Climate Alliance Baden-Württemberg is a voluntary partnership between the state and regional companies that work together and through individual climate protection agreements to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and promote sustainability. The duration of the alliance between HUGO BOSS and the Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Energy Economy of Baden-Württemberg is set at 10 years with the option of extension.
